Principle of operation


After connecting the Smart RGB bulb to the 220 V mains and adding the device to the rubetek app, you will be able to control the color, brightness, and on/off light settings on a timer or scenario.

Mobile app


Download and install rubetek application from App Store or Google Play. You can use QR-code.
Create an account and confirm your mobile number to use the application.




Adding to application


  1. Open rubetek application.
  2. Press “+” in top right angle of the main screen
  3. Select “Add Device”

  1. Select section Lighting → RGB bulbs→ Wi-Fi RGB bulb

  1. Switch on/off the RGB bulb three times to put the Smart RGB bulb in add mode When activated successfully, the RGB bulb will flash blue

If the Wi-Fi password is incorrect, the RGB bulb will flash yellow




Interface


To turn the RGB bulb on/off, a single press on the tile of the device is sufficient.

  • With a one scale division signal, we do not guarantee stable operation of the security system. Move the device to improve signal quality.

    It is possible Wi-Fi network only within local network, i.e. Your mobile phone shall be connected to current Wi-Fi network to which the device is connected


    Timers


    RGB bulb supports up to 10 timers for switching on and 10 timers for switching off. The will be in operation regardless of the availability of the Internet. Got to control shade and press its tile on the main control screen to set timers.




    SMS notifications


    Go to the SMS-informing section in the Home settings to assign the phone number. You can add several phone numbers to one Home. Limits: up to 20 SMS per day to one mobile phone but max. 20 SMS to all assigned numbers in a Home.




    Push notifications


    To use this function you should permit rubetek application to send push notifications. You can do it in your mobile phone settings.




    FAQ


    How do I set the schedule of the RGB bulb?
    Set timer parameters in mobile app. Timer allows setting the action that will be executed according to schedule. You can set 10 timers for switching on and 10 timers for switching off.
    Is it possible to control the RGB bulb when there is no internet?
    If you have previously set up timers for the RGB bulb in the app, they will be triggered regardless of Internet availability. Also it is possible to control the RGB bulb in local network, but not remotely.
    Can the RGB bulb be installed outdoors?
    No. RGB bulb is designed for indoor installation
    Can I install the device myself without asking for help from a specialist?
    Yes, you can. Installation does not require special qualification.
