Door/window sensor
Door/window sensor — device that can be fastened at any opening surface. The sensor immediately responds to the opening of the door or window on which it is installed and sends a notification to your smartphone.
You need a receiver that supports adding rubetek wireless devices to add the sensor to the mobile app and receive notifications to your smartphone. Receiver is a re-transmitter of signals from the sensors to the mobile app.

Principle of operation
Door/window sensor consists of two parts-reed transmitter and magnet.
Transmitter is fastened at fixed surface (e.g., window frame), magnet-at moving part. If the reed switch is in the range of the magnetic field, it closes the circuit - the sensor is closed. The opening of a window or door wing opens the circuit and the Sensor detects opening. In this case sensor immediately sends alarm signal to receiver and you receive notification on smartphone.

Battery compartment
Installation
- Open cover of battery compartment by picking up the groove and insert the battery (supplied). Close the cover.
- Remove protective layer from mounting tape. Install transmitter so that it was located on fixed surface (window/door reveal) and magnet on moving surface (leaf). For correct operation it is necessary to provide a marking gap on the transmitter and magnet housings of max.10 mm.
Mobile app
Download and install rubetek application from App Store or Google Play. You can use QR-code.
Create an account and confirm your mobile number to use the application.
Adding to application
- Open rubetek application.
- Add receiver in application, if it was not added before
- Press '+' in top right angle of the main screen
- Select 'Add Device'
- Select section Safety → Door/window sensor→ RS-3215
- Press button on the back of sensor five times to put sensor in adding mode. If activation was successful LED will start flashing

Automation
If you have hubs, you can set up different automations. E.g., automatic switching on the light at door opening or switching off air conditioner when window is open.
Other opportunities
In combination with other devices, such as control module RM-3715, you can create a room climate control system that helps maintain a comfortable room temperature and extend the life of the air conditioner.
In a room with closed windows, the energy consumption of the air conditioner is minimal, because it works in idle mode. When the window is open, the temperature in the room will constantly rise, and the air conditioner will turn on more often, trying to bring it to the desired value, which significantly increases the power consumption and the load on the compressor.
Opening sensor allow controlling air supply, set uping the load on air conditioner compressor and therefore extending its life time. In addition, you will know about when air conditioner is on and off, you will receive notification to smartphone.
But the most important is that the scenario will activate even in case of failure of Internet network. Control module saves the scenario and it will operate locally.
Settings
Press and hold the tile on the screen to open sensor settings.
Event log
The 'Events' tab displays the chronology of sensor triggering with its name and room location. Tab is in the lower application menu.
Push notifications
To use this function you should permit rubetek application to send push notifications. You can do it in your mobile phone settings. Notifications on opening will be sent only in Security mode.
